Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Trailer Trash. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.trailertrash.co (the “Site”), operated by Trailer Trash Studios Pty Ltd (registered in NSW, Australia). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on the Site.
Our Service. Trailer Trash provides rankings and embedded videos of movie trailers. We do not produce or host any videos ourselves – all videos are embedded from third-party platforms (YouTube). We do not offer user accounts or paid services. You may use the Site to view trailer rankings and watch videos via these embeds. You must use the Site for lawful, personal entertainment purposes only.
User Responsibilities. You agree not to misuse the Site or content. For example, you must not:
Upload or distribute any unlawful or infringing content (note: since there is no uploading feature, this is generally about your conduct elsewhere).
Attempt to hack, crawl, or scrape the Site, or interfere with its operation.
Circumvent any security or measure we put in place.
Use the Site to distribute malware or spam, or for any commercial promotion.
You are responsible for using the Site in compliance with all applicable laws. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these rules.
Intellectual Property. All original Site content (text, graphics, logos, rankings, and the Trailer Trash name/logo) is the property of Trailer Trash Studios and protected by copyright and other laws. The embedded videos and trailers are the property of their respective copyright holders. We do not claim ownership of these videos. If you have concerns about a video’s copyright, you should contact the video’s uploader or YouTube directly.
Links and Embedded Content. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or embedded content (such as YouTube videos). When you click a link or view an embedded video, you are interacting directly with that third-party site. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any linked site or embedded media. For example, embedded YouTube videos “behave in the exact same way as if [you] visited the other website”. These third-party sites may collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction; please review their terms and privacy policies. We make no representations about the content or reliability of any third-party site.
Disclaimers and Liability. The Site and all information are provided “as is” and for convenience/entertainment only. We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of content (rankings may be subjective or time-sensitive). We are not responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trailer Trash Studios and its officers, affiliates, and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or loss of profits) suffered by you or any other party in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on its content. (Australian law may not allow exclusion of certain consumer guarantees; where it does not allow it, our liability is limited to the minimum required by law.)
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree that any disputes or claims arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Changes to These Terms. We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms here with a revised “last updated” date. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the new terms.
Privacy. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy (see below). By providing personal information (e.g. your email address when you subscribe), you consent to its collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy.
